How can I love you?

Please take a few minutes. Set a timer for 3 minutes and Go: answer that question. Write it. Talk it. Do it non-stop, stream-of-consciousness for 3 minutes.

How can I love you?

Grace. Show me grace. Openness. Open your arms, relax your shoulders. Welcome. Greet me as an old friend; the oldest and dearest. I am your friend. I am here to love you. I am here. I am. I am you. You are the highest evolution of you ever. You are the most evolved you in this moment. You are perfect. You are whole. You are complete. Be still and know that you are holy. You are divine. You are healed.

How can I love you?

Embrace. Hold me. Stay with me. See me. Hear me. Behold the miracle I am. I am. I am a miracle. My ego threatens to rip me apart. My ego whispers messages of division and separation from me, from those around me. I get to love me first—not after everyone else is settled.

Did you know healed means happy? Happy means healed?

In high school, when my stated goal was “to be happy,” I had no idea what a perfect desire that was. Simple. Elegant. Complex as an ocean. Fathomless. Can’t quite see it. Can’t quite get there. Elusive.

Until I wake up and see it. I am healed. I am whole. I am, therefore, happy. The ego wants me to forget, but it’s there, that little seed of happy is there. Undisturbed for all time, always and forever.

I am loved. I am love.

You are loved. You are love.

We are loved.

We

Are

Love.

Amen.
